The Dreams Fulfilled Concert

Purpose

In 2005, I created The Dreams Fulfilled Concert as a fundraising benefit for several reasons: To give musicians opportunities for performance, to keep myself professionally active and most importantly to raise money for worthwhile causes.

Mission

The Dreams Fulfilled Concert mission is to harness community involvement and unify resources for initiatives that promote growth and expanding opportunities today that motivate and inspire the people of tomorrow.

The Future - My Dream

My dream is to create the Dreams Fulfilled Concert as a non-profit entity of its own. If you or someone you know would like to be a part of The Dreams Fulfilled Concert and/or would like to donate legal services for the creation of a non-profit, please contact me at 917-595-7137 or via e-mail

The 2005 Dreams Fulfilled Concert - photos

On June 2nd, 2005, I held the first Dreams Fulfilled Concert at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall. I, along with a talented team of volunteers and exceptionally gifted musicians, performed musical works by Poulenc, Charles Williams, Faure, Francaix, Ibert, Donizetti, Wolf and Handel. Also, Brazilian composer/pianist, Paulo Carvalho, and New York composer/pianist, Richard Holley, performed original works.

With the help of The Friends of Leadership, a non-profit entity that raises money for the High School for Leadership and Public Service, we sold out the house and raised approximately $14,000.00 for the High School for Leadership and Public Service.

I chose the High School for Leadership and Public Service because I was inspired by their focus on leadership. I was happy to raise money to help such a fine school maintain and enhance not only their music programs, but also their varied initiatives that strive to have high school students succeed in school and in life...as leaders.

The 2006 Dreams Fulfilled Concert

In 2006, a small private college in lower Manhattan generously sponsored The Dreams Fulfilled Concert, once again at Carnegie Hall

The college's many talented faculty donated their time and musical talents to perform at the Dreams Fulfilled Concert. All ticket sales were given to the college to be used for scholarships to help students with financial need get access to higher education.

Thank you,
Louis Yungling
