The Studio

My studio is in a spacious room in my home and is ample in size for parents to sit in and share the lesson. Also, parents and guests will enjoy a warm and comfortable adjacent sitting room where they can relax on the sofa and read a book or rest. The piano studio and my home are decorated with beautiful "Blue Water" and other works of art by New York City artist, Michael Mut. Click on his name to view his website.

The Piano

I teach on a 2006 Estonia full-sized Grand Piano. Estonia Pianos are fine, European handcrafted pianos. For more information, you'll enjoy Estonia's website at www.estoniapiano.com

Students sit on a professional performance bench that is fully adjustable to accommodate all sizes and allow for the maximum comfort and correct height necessary for proper skills development. I also have a foot stool for youngsters whose feet don't yet reach the floor.

Parents and guests

Parents and guests will find comfort in my cozy and inviting sitting room, and can expect complimentary light beverage offerings. Parents are also welcome to sit and observe the lesson...and participate, too!

Recitals

The lesson studio expands to accommodate approximately 15-20 people. I encourage performing, and regularly offer the studio for intimate recitals and studio classes. Be sure to check the calendar for upcoming events.

What's nearby the studio?

Local conveniences include Bar Toto (a pleasant atmosphere with delicious, moderately priced food and great artwork for sale on the walls!) and Red Horse Cafe (Park Slope's newest addition, offering an exceptionally good menu of coffees and snacks). Both establishments are just steps from Yungling Piano Studio. I'm located close to many stores and restaurants on both 5th and 7th Avenues.
