Hello Valencia, my name is Louis Yungling and I’m a piano teacher now living in the beautiful city of Valencia, Spain since June 2023. I was born in the USA and speak English and Spanish. Before moving, I lived and taught in Brooklyn, NY for 20 years!

I love working with pianists of all levels and have a special fondness for helping pianists with pain and recovery – so they can play the piano naturally and easily without pain.
Desde 2003 he enseñado a muchos pianistas de todas edades y niveles. Durante la pandemia de 2020, algunos de mis clientes han seguido estudiando conmigo online. Fue una época de dificultad, aprendizaje y experimentación para todos. ¡Todavía doy clases online!
Since 2003 I have taught many pianists of all ages and levels. During the COVID pandemic, some of my clients continued studying with me online. It was a time of difficulty, learning and experimentation for everyone. I still teach online today!
Cuando llegué a España actualicé mi sitio web y lo traduje al español. Este proceso me recordó al proceso de aprender una nueva pieza musical. Hay que empezar poco a poco y con mucho cuidado para ver, oír y sentir todos los pequeños detalles.
When I arrived in Spain I updated my website and translated it into Spanish. This process reminded me of the journey of learning a new piece of music. You have to start little by little and very carefully to see, hear and feel all the small details.
¡Por supuesto que no hablo español perfectamente! Y probablemente haya palabras incorrectas y errores gramaticales aquí y en mi sitio web, pero amo la cultura y el idioma español y realmente me gusta aprender. Al igual que una nueva pieza musical, cometeré errores, aprenderé y creceré a lo largo de este viaje.
Of course I don’t speak Spanish perfectly! And there are probably grammatical and word errors on my website, but I love the Spanish culture and language and I really like to learn. Just like a new piece of music, I will make mistakes, learn and grow throughout this journey.
Lo importante es tener la mente y el corazón abierto! Así es como aprendo, y así es como enseño.
The important thing is to have an open mind and heart! It’s how I learn, and how I teach.
